Born in Florence, Italy, to a Swiss mother and an Italian father, Erica’s career began at the age of three modeling for Pitti Bimbo quickly making a name for herself by walking in her first fashion show for Giorgio Armani. Her journey took her to Paris, where she worked with Vogue magazine immersing herself in the world of high fashion and opening a door to move to USA.

First in New York City then in LA she began collaborating with iconic American brands, including Tiffany & Co., which selected her as one of the most influential talents for their photo exhibition, ‘Keep On Shining,’ held in Venice during the film festival.

Amidst the glamorous whirlwind of fashion shoots and runway shows, Erica’s greatest passion has always been her connection to nature and animals, particularly horses. This deep-seated love, nurtured by her father, provided her with a much-needed escape from the fast-paced fashion industry. Since she was a little girl, their adventures took them around the globe, traveling to competitions and selecting horses for the show. These moments spent in nature, engaged in the sport of show jumping, became a healing sanctuary for Erica—a time to recharge, connect with her father, and deepen her bond with these magnificent creatures. In this serene world, far removed from the glitz and glamour, Erica found solace and strength.”

“From as far back as I can remember, being around horses has always made me feel at home,” Erica reflects. “Whether it was riding with my family as a kid or spending quiet moments with my horse today, those connections are everything to me. When I’m feeling down or stressed, just being with my horse brings me back to myself. It’s like we breathe together, and in those moments, I find my peace.”

With her background in modeling and editorial work, Erica discovered the power of imagery and storytelling in fashion. “Fashion isn’t just about looking good; it’s about making a statement,” she explains. “Through my work, I realized how important it is to support sustainable brands that care about animals and our planet. I want to use my voice and my platform to inspire my generation to appreciate and protect these incredible creatures.”

Erica is also passionate about the impact of equine therapy on mental health, particularly for young people facing challenges. “It’s been such a rewarding journey to learn how horses can help heal and support us,” she says. “They remind us of the beauty in connection and compassion.”

Erica partnered with The American Wild Horse Conservation (AWHC), a mission that resonates deeply with her values. “I believe in protecting America’s wild horses and burros, ensuring they can roam free and live their lives to the fullest,” she shares, her enthusiasm shining through. “These horses are not just beautiful; they play a vital role in our ecosystems and can help so many people heal.”

Erica also sheds light on the darker side of the fashion industry. “It’s heartbreaking to know that over 1 billion animals, including horses, are lost each year for leather and other products. It’s time for us to change that narrative,” she emphasizes. “We need to raise our voices and advocate for these majestic beings.”

La Selle, French for “The Saddle,” embodies the spirit of adventure. The phrase “Saddle up” literally means to put a saddle on a horse in preparation for departure, and I’ve always interpreted it as “Get Ready.” La Selle is your essential wardrobe, designed to prepare you for all your upcoming trips and adventures.
